Dec 5th, 2009 | By | Category: debt reduction, Personal Finance BlogsIf you’re like me you’re always looking for a way to generate an extra source of income to help pay the bills and get out of debt faster. Recently, I’ve been focusing on one particular method that has been proving to be very successful and helping me save extra money and pay down my debt faster.
If you can’t tell from the title I’ve been using Google Adsense to help pay off my debt. Now, my adsense earnings haven’t been huge but let me ask you this. What if you could generate an extra $100 to $500 a month, would that put a little more spring in your step?
It has for me and it can for you. In this post I’m going to walk you through the steps I took to start earning an income online with adsense.
The 5 Steps To Earning With Adsense
- Take Action Now. One thing I was always taught is that if you do the right things long enough you’ll eventually get to where you want to go. Doing that takes action, a lot of it. I knew that if wanted to go far I had to produce results and I am.
- Treat It Like A Business. The goal of a business is to create profit and that is exactly what I’m doing. This just isn’t something I’m doing or a hobby, it’s my business. In fact I even have time set aside everyday just for this business.
- Create Tons Of Content. If you want to be successful with adsense and earn enough money to start paying a portion of your bills you need create lots of content, and not just any content good quality unique content.
- Get Links. Now that you have content in place along with a strong intention to win you need to move on to the one activity you will spend 80% of your time on, getting links. Without links you’re nothing to Google. The one thing I think about more than anything else in a day is where my next link is going to come from.
- Stay Focused. In order to get where you want to go you need to stay focused. Along with that you need to have a plan that will keep you on track towards your goals. Every day I take just a little time to reflect and look at my goals. Doing this keeps me grounded to what really matters most, saving more and getting debt free faster.
